Secret Tips: the Confluence Engine.
There is no honest indicator combination that can guarantee 90% accuracy in live markets. The useful edge is to make several independent pieces of evidence agree, reject weak setups and define the invalidation before entry.
VWAP + 9/20 EMA + Relative Volume
For 15m/1h study, first require a directional market structure. Then look for price acceptance on the correct side of VWAP, 9 EMA above/below 20 EMA with slope, and relative volume expansion. A break without participation is treated as weak.
Trigger: level break → close/acceptance → RVOL expansion → controlled retest.ADX + 20/50 Trend + Range Break
For 2-day to 2-week studies, avoid chasing a stretched candle. Prefer price above 20/50 SMA, ADX showing a usable trend regime, a clean range compression/break and volume confirmation. RSI is confirmation, not the trigger.
Trigger: trend alignment → compression → breakout close → volume → retest hold.Delivery + Relative Strength + ATR
For positional cash-and-carry studies, combine delivery participation with relative strength and a healthy volatility regime. High delivery alone is not bullish; it becomes useful when price structure and trend agree.
Trigger: strong structure + positive relative path + delivery support + ATR room.Price Momentum + Volume + Open Interest
For commodity contracts, direction should be supported by price movement, participation and open-interest context. A large move with falling participation is treated differently from a move accompanied by volume and OI expansion.
Trigger: momentum → participation → OI context → risk guard.Relative Strength Rank + Pullback Failure
Do not short simply because RSI is high. For weakness, look for relative underperformance, a lower high, loss of the short-term trend reference and downside momentum. The first failed bounce is often more informative than the first red candle.
Trigger: relative weakness → lower high → failed reclaim → volume.Close Location + Volume Quality
A candle crossing a level is not automatically a breakout. Measure where it closes inside its own range and whether participation is expanding. A wick-heavy breakout with poor close location is a warning; an accepted close with follow-through is stronger evidence.
Trigger: level cross + close strength + participation + next-bar hold.Index Context Is a Weight, Not a Blind Gate
The broader index matters, but a strong stock can outperform during a mixed index session. Finora therefore treats market regime as context and gives greater weight to stock-specific trend, relative strength and structure instead of rejecting every stock when NIFTY is not perfectly risk-on.
Rule: regime conflict reduces confidence; it does not automatically erase stock strength.Three Conflicts = WAIT
The strongest “secret” is knowing when not to shortlist. If trend, participation and price structure disagree, classify the setup as WAIT. This reduces low-quality signals and prevents an indicator from becoming a prediction machine.
Rule: evidence conflict beats excitement.Independent evidence should agree before a setup becomes a shortlist candidate.
Finora principle: a high score is evidence of alignment, not a promise of profit. The scanner should produce fewer, better-supported candidates rather than manufacture a result every time.
